My name is Scott Beaulieu, and I’ve spent over 30 years teaching history lessons to middle schoolers. I absolutely love sharing knowledge and introducing people to new things. Before teaching, I dabbled in the restaurant business as a bartender and manager in various dining atmospheres. I’ve also been heavily involved in local education organizations and have a knack for creating engaging experiences for adults.
I’ve made it my mission to learn everything I can about craft alcohol production processes. I’ve visited countless breweries, distilleries, and wineries across New England and beyond, attended numerous tastings and classes, and soaked up as much knowledge as possible.

Tried them out with some friends and it was so much fun. I knew it would be fun drinking the beer at each location but what was even better was all the information that was provided about the beer and the locations. Biggest surprise was the Snappy Spicy Cucumber Pale Ale at Loophole Brewery. The guides were super fun and knowledgeable. I can not wait to go again and try a different adventure. Both of our hosts were amazing and a blast to be around. Brook & Scott of Pioneer Valley Brews Cruise are awesome guides! They are knowledgeable about beer and the local area. They were flexible on the breweries we went to (one of us likes IPAs and the other sours). There was a great selection at all the breweries we visited and lots of samples. We also visited a local shop where we sampled beer and cheese (which we immediately bought to take home with us!). We highly recommend Pioneer Brews Cruise for anyone who wants to enjoy some great beer in beautiful Western Mass.!
