Trip Itinerary By Day

Many flights from North America to Europe are scheduled overnight. Choose your preferred flights during Saturday to be sure to arrive in Amsterdam in time for the Welcome Meeting and Group Dinner on Sunday.
Note: Luggage can be stored at our Amsterdam hotel for those who arrive early.

Meet in Amsterdam and check in at the Hotel.
Evening: Introduction with Welcome Briefing and Group Dinner. Stay in Amsterdam.

Morning: City history walking tour with a group lunch at De Waag, a castle-like restaurant that was once part of the city wall.
Afternoon: Canal Cruise of Amsterdam with an onboard guided beer tasting.
Evening: Free. Stay in Amsterdam.

Morning: Day trip by private coach to tour the Dutch countryside. First, Zaanse Schans, an open air windmill museum and village outside of Amsterdam. It’s a great place to try the famous Dutch pancakes for lunch.
Afternoon: The tour will then head to Volendam, a seaside village with a historic boardwalk. Finally, the group will take a ferry ride to Marken Island, a historic fishing village.
Evening: Free. Stay in Amsterdam.

Morning: Brews Cruise by private coach during the transfer from Amsterdam to Ghent. One brewery will be visited early for a brewery tour/tasting and lunch.
Afternoon: The second stop will be either Hof Ten Dormaal, a farm brewery, OR Oud Beersel, a spontaneously fermented beer brewery.
Evening: Free. Stay in Ghent.

Morning: Take a city walking tour of Ghent, including a visit to the medieval Gravensteen Castle in the town center.
Afternoon: Group lunch followed by a guided Belgian beer tour of Ghent and a visit to Christmas Market on its opening day!
Evening: Free. Stay in Ghent.

Morning: Travel by private coach to Brussels and store luggage at the hotel. In your free time, find lunch with our recommendations.
Afternoon: The group comes back together for a walking city and beer tour of Brussels, including stops at Cantillion Brewery and Delirium Cafe.
Evening: Farewell dinner. Stay in Brussels.

For many, this will be a travel day back to North America with airport transfer and flight plans at your convenience.
For some, this day may be a chance to extend your trip and explore Brussels and the surrounding area in a bit more detail.
Inclusions:
● All breakfasts and five (5) meals, as described in the itinerary.
● Six (6) nights of lodging in four-star rated, centrally located hotels.
● Ground transportation via private coach, as described in the itinerary.
● All drinks and beer during group meals and tours, as described in the itinerary.
● All tours, attractions, and admissions, as described in the itinerary.
● Local Tour Guide and/or Drinkable Destinations Host during all structured tour
days.
● All taxes and tips on all included hotels, meals, guide services, and transportation.

○ Airfare and other transportation to the tour starting point and from the tour
ending point.
○ Meals not specified in the itinerary.
○ Personal expenses such as laundry and phone calls.
○ Shopping purchases.
○ Expenses for any activities not included in the itinerary.
○ Passport or visa fees.
○ Travel insurance coverage to cover tour cancellation or interruption, lost luggage,
accidental death, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, or
unavoidable flight delays. Please note: many personal health insurance plans
don’t cover their participants while they are traveling out of the country.
