Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure an on-time departure. For late arriving guests, we cannot hold the tour any longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time. While we strive to stay on schedule, circumstances beyond our control may alter our plans. Please be aware that our tour end time could change based on the pace of business and staffing at each location.

Typically you will receive multiple samples at each brewery during the tour. You are not obligated to drink each sample provided. You may not consume alcohol on any vehicle, or while traveling in any method between stops. There will be coolers on the bus to store your growlers or other purchases.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION OR DESIGNATE A SOBER DRIVER AT THE END OF THE TOUR. Your guide will happily provide you with local taxicab or rideshare information at your request. The blood alcohol level limit for DUI is .08, and the average male will hit a .05 level with two craft beers in one hour.
-
There are no tasting fees for the samples you will receive at each stop, as we have already covered samples in our all-inclusive ticket price. If you don’t want to, you won’t have to open your wallet at all after showing us your I.D. to start the tour.
That said, all of the locations we visit will have retail operations of some kind. Beyond the samples we cover for you, please feel free to support our local businesses by purchasing some additional samples (if time permits) or taking merchandise or beverages home with you. Many items found along the way cannot be purchased elsewhere, and we can carry your purchases in a backpack or on a bus-based tour we have coolers for cold storage!

Great question! Short answer…no.
On our tour, you are going to be given the opportunity to sample various alcohol products. Most of our guests find the amount of alcohol supplied during the tour to be more than sufficient.
Having one drink before the tour is one thing, but having multiple drinks and then expecting to be served even more during the tour is not responsible and will not be tolerated. Each of our partners maintains on-premise alcohol licenses, much like a bar or restaurant, and they will not put themselves to overserve alcohol to any guests.
If you or members of your party are checking in for the tour and it is deemed by our staff that individual(s) are visibly intoxicated, those guests will not be able to board the bus for the tour at all. This is to protect the other tour guests, as well as the relationships we have with our partners.
During the tour, if you are intoxicated and it is determined by our staff or our partners that you need to be cut off, that decision will not be reversed at subsequent stops.
We reserve the right to remove you fully from the tour and provide you an alternate and safe way for you to return back to your home or lodging location.
-
We will be in operational breweries so the ability to control yourself is paramount for you, your fellow tour members, and the facilities’ safety. We want you to have a good time, but within reason.
NOTE: If Brews Cruise guests arrive intoxicated at the tour departure location, it is at the cruise guide’s discretion whether to allow them on the tour. If you are turned away due to intoxication, you will still be charged in full for the cruise. Also, if you start drinking earlier in the day and become intoxicated during the tour you may not be allowed to remain on the tour or into the next location and may have to arrange for your own return transportation.

Generally, no.
We love all kinds of pets, but only service animals are allowed on the bus and on our tours.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability, and the dog must be trained to take a specific action when needed to assist the person with a disability.

At each stop, we pay gratuity to the staff of our partners for the service they are extending to our group. If you purchase additional samples or food, it would be proper to pay an additional gratuity for those items.
If you have booked a private tour with us, and if the gratuity is not already included, it would be appropriate to provide a 20% gratuity which is shared with your driver and guide.
We do not require you to tip our tour staff on our public tours. But our staff certainly appreciate receiving gratuities if you find that you enjoyed your time with us! They promise to put it right back into the local economy to stay properly educated about the craft alcohol scene.
-
Please arrive for your cruise approximately 15 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. For late arriving guests, we cannot hold the tour any longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time.

All of our tours are open for sale to the public unless they have been booked as a private tour. Each type of tour has minimum guests needed to operate, these are stated on each tour description page.
The composition of who is on the tour along with you could be different types of groups including singles, couples, and larger groups.
Occasionally, the larger groups might be holding a birthday party or another type of celebration. Quite often we do not know the nature of why groups have booked tours with us, so we are unable to communicate this ahead of time.
