Sips and Sea Dogs Tour Dates For The Baseball Season Are Now On Sale!
There may still be football games on the schedule, but we have been busy filling out the lineup for the upcoming Portland Sea Dogs baseball season. We have put together a great roster – now with two dozen dates – where we are offering our popular Sips and Sea Dogs tour during the 2020 season.
Along with our friends at the Portland Sea Dogs, we have set up all of the dates for our Sips and Sea Dogs tour this year!
We are now in the sixth year of partnering with the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, to present a special Sips and Sea Dogs tour before select home games during the 2020 season.
This unique tour-and-game-ticket combination is available before every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening home game this season.
That’s 24 different Sips and Sea Dogs tour dates this year – including the special Alces de Maine Game on May 15th!
The Sips and Sea Dogs tour departs from Hadlock Field in Portland at 3:00 pm for 6:00 pm game start times, and at 4:00 pm for 7:00 pm game starts.
The tour will bring guests to three local breweries, distilleries and/or wineries. Participants will learn about each business, meet owners and staff, take brief tours (if available), and have an opportunity to sample their craft alcohol products.
The tour will arrive back at Hadlock Field approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.
Tickets for the Sips and Sea Dogs tour are available at two different pricing levels:
- $89.99 per person for seating in Section 501/502, a pavilion section located in right field. These seats, modeled after the “Monster Seats” at Fenway Park, are some of the most unique in Minor League Baseball. They provide countertop seating and offer the only place in the ballpark to catch a home run ball. They also provide all-you-can-eat food available until one hour after the scheduled game start time, with options including hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, baked beans, Sea Dog Biscuits, and soft drinks. (Note: This section is not available for games in April or May)
- $74.99 per person for a box seat in section 202, located on the first baseline and close to the most concessions that include local craft beer.
Tickets include the three-stop tour with alcohol tastings, transportation, bottled water, a Maine Brew Bus souvenir bag, gratuities at each stop, as well as a Portland Sea Dogs reserved game ticket for each guest.
Sips and Sea Dogs guests will also receive a 20% discount coupon with each game ticket for Portland Sea Dogs merchandise that can be redeemed in the Team Store while at the game. Tickets are limited to 24 seats for each game, and all guests must be at least 21 years of age at the time of the tour.
Tours will happen rain or shine and will not be canceled or refunded if that night’s game is already postponed. If the game on the Sips and Sea Dogs tour date becomes part of a doubleheader due to previously rescheduled games, we will still be maintaining the original timetable with tour departure and arrival schedule as published. If a game is postponed while the tour is underway, guests will receive a raincheck for a future game.
Pickup and drop off is at the Hadlock Field main entrance near the Slugger the Sea Dog statue, and all guests will be instructed in advance on where to and where not to park for the duration of the tour and game. Guests purchasing alcohol for later consumption will be able to leave their purchases secured in the team general offices for the duration of the game.
The Sips and Sea Dogs tour is also available as a private group tour or as a corporate outing and may be scheduled on other game dates. If you are looking for a unique outing with your friends, family, or colleagues this summer, give us a call to discuss a private Sips and Sea Dogs tour!
